Role & Client Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employability/Vocational Tutor to join our team in Cannock. In this role, you will deliver Level 1 and 2 qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service, and Employability, supporting learners in developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for career success.

You will provide engaging and tailored learning experiences to young people and adults, helping them progress into employment or further education. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on learners' lives while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Level 1 & 2 courses in Business Administration, Customer Service, and Employability.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum plans.
  • Assess learners' work, provide constructive feedback, and track progress.
  • Observe learners within workplace settings to ensure qualification criteria are met.
  • Provide individual learning plans to meet learner needs and ensure positive outcomes.
  • Support learners in developing employability skills for career progression.

Essential/Desirable Criteria:

Essential:

  • Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience (14-19 provision preferred).
  • An Assessing Qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in delivering vocational qualifications and employability training.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel if required.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with work-based learners or apprenticeships.
