Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and load/unload materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient handling of goods and maintaining a smooth workflow in our operations.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a clean working environment.
