Your new companyI am recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Academy Trust based in the Cannock area, they are looking for an experienced Administration or Human Resources candidate to join their People Team as a People Team Administrator. This role is a stand-alone position so the successful candidate will need to have the ability to work independently and autonomously, using their own initiative on a daily basis.This role can offer either term-time hours, or year-round hours; whichever a candidate prefers. This role is school based in Cannock and offers one day working from home.

This role can be temp, temp to perm, or permanent, depending on a candidates preference.

Key duties:

  • Recruitment administration
  • Coordinating DBS checks for staff
  • Maintaining staff personnel records
  • Absence management
  • Organise review meetings
  • Supporting with payroll
  • Organising occupational health referrals
  • Completing risk assessments
  • Attending and minute taking in meetings
  • Support with project where required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a school/education environment is ideal but not essential
  • Experience working with complex administration
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • CIPD Level 3 is ideal but not essential
  • Ability to work in a stand-alone role, working completely indepedence
  • Enhanced DBS check will be needed for this role, having one on the update service highly advantageous
