This position will be based out of their office in Cannock or Walsall flexible.

What we need from you:

  • You will need to have experience working in a sales or business development environment using the telephone to make calls, generate leads etc
  • Ideally you will understand training, apprenticeships, or education programmes
  • You will need to be someone that is focused, results driven, is creative and has ideas about how to succeed
  • Good communication skills over the phone and email
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Able to demonstrate superior time management skills and meet sales deadlines
  • Be PC literate


What this role involves:

You will be involved in a range of business-to-business activities; cold calls, social media to generate leads to secure business.

Other duties include:

  • For each target effectively plan activity for the month to meet your minimum target
  • Maintain a presence using social media, update, and refresh knowledge of each project and services
  • Research new markets and organisations to identify the decision maker, make contact
  • Create an effective pipeline of activity. Identify organisations that provide scalability in the market and new development areas
  • Develop quality proposals and negotiate effectively with customers over the telephone
  • Update the CRM with all contacts
  • Generate quality leads for all targets and pipeline activity for new customers and identify repeat business from existing accounts
  • Update knowledge of the industry and its drivers, including policy and funding. Complete CPD and record database Aspire to achieve exceed in behavioural competencies


Salary/hours: £22,000 - £25,000 plus bonus. Working Monday to Thursday 8.45am 5pm and Friday 8.45am 4pm. 45 minutes lunch break each day.
