Logistics Administrator

Cannock

Monday to Friday

8am - 5pm

***Please note this is a 6-8 month FTC to cover maternity leave***

Duties:

  • Planning & Control
  • Movement & Storage
  • General Logistics optimisation
  • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes
  • Cargo planning, and strategies to improve depot/ logistics service centre operations
  • Analysing and projecting transportation costs
  • Coordinating customs clearances and permits
  • Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals
  • Administration of mobilisation and de-mobilisation / delivery of equipment and material to all new and existing project sites across defined territories, ensure submission of necessary documentation and update relevant systems and databases
  • Ensure correct documentation of import and export processes for all materials and related equipment, liaising with appropriate authorities, as necessary
  • Administration of required cargo/driver documentation and certifications
  • Responsible for collection and delivery of equipment to and from customer sites
  • Develop and maintain direct lines of communication with all transport suppliers to ensure all requirements are met
  • Produce relevant performance monitoring data with regard to On Time In Full and transport recoveries
  • Identify suitable equipment to fulfil contract requirements.

Experience required:

  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Strong administration skills a MUST
  • Great Customer Service skills
  • Working within a team you will need a 'can do' attitude as well as being friendly, people focussed and easy going and used to working in a busy office team. Good mixed age group within the team
  • Excellent attention to detail
