Are you a hands-on engineer with a background in mechatronics, robotics, electrical systems, or automation? Looking to build your career working with advanced robotic welding systems across the UK and Ireland?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of automated welding and robotic solutions, where you'll work on-site with major industrial clients, delivering high-quality installations, service, and support.
What You'll Be Doing:
Install, commission, and maintain industrial robotic welding systems on customer sites
Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, and repair
Use and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams during servicing and upgrades
Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and performance
Provide technical support and training to end-users on-site
Operate as part of a field-based engineering team, covering the UK and Ireland
Willing to stay away up to 3 times per week (accommodation and expenses covered)
What We're Looking For:
Qualification in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, etc.)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and automation
Knowledge or experience with robotic systems (e.g. ABB, Fanuc, KUKA) is a major plus
Confident working with mechanical and electrical components in the field
Excellent problem-solving and independent diagnostic skills
Clear communication and a customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence - travel and overnight stays required
