**Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical Bias) **

Temp to Perm – £27-£28p/h (Inc Hol Pay) T2P PAYE

Location: Cannock

Panama Shift Pattern (12-hour shift – 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

Business Overview:

Our client is a leading provider in the FMCG market, specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality, sustainable products. They focus on providing fresh, healthy food to the market, with an emphasis on maintaining strong supply chain relationships and environmental responsibility. They are looking for an Electrical biased Maintenance Team Leader to assist them in their business on a temporary to permanent basis.

For the position of a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be required to conduct the following duties:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in managing a team of engineers, as well as carrying out engineering duties, servicing and conducting repairs over the site.
  • Machinery working on includes Slicers, dicers, baggers, wrappers, shredders, multi head weighers, metal detectors, conveyors,
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize production downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Working safely is paramount, installing distribution, 3phase power, cabling, transformers, relays etc
  • Measuring and testing electrical supply to correct standards and procedures, and Health & Safety
  • Handling 1:1 meeting and managing disciplinary actions.
  • quick response to breakdowns, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, factory start-ups, and technical repairs.

The successful Maintenance Team Leader will need to have the following attributes:

  • HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 17th / 18th edition wiring regulations (Beneficial)
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with complex electrical systems and machinery.
  • Ideally FMCG experience (Desirable)
