Are you passionate about working with primary-aged children and looking to kickstart your career in education? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at a vibrant primary school in Cannock.

This part-time role offers the opportunity to work 2-3 days a week, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with primary-aged children and a desire to grow and develop within the education sector.

Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons- Assist students with their learning and development- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Provide one-on-one support to students who may need extra help- Assist with classroom management and organization

Requirements:- Previous experience working with primary aged children- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues- Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development- Relevant qualifications in education or child care is desirable

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
