Sales Development Representative – Hybrid

Location: Cannock, WS12 2HA –  Hybrid, initially 3 days in office per week
Salary: £24,570 – £26,500 per annum, DoE + Bonus

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Executive to join our dynamic and high-growth sales team at Phoenix Health & Safety, part of Wilmington plc.

In this role, you will play a vital part in identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential leads, working closely with the Marketing team and Account Executives.

You will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads generated by marketing efforts, as well as conducting outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and LinkedIn.

The role will initially focus on UK-based clients, with a second opportunity to specialise in Middle Eastern markets following tailored training.

Job Purpose, Tasks, and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and researching potential leads through various sources such as historical enquiries, online databases, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Initiating contact with cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest.
  • Assessing prospects based on predefined criteria (e.g., budget, timeline, need) and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
  • Managing response times to support marketing outreach in the UK, UAE, and South Africa.
  • Logging interactions, follow-ups, and lead status accurately in HubSpot.
  • Ensuring continued engagement and moving leads further down the sales funnel.
  • Meeting monthly targets related to calls made, emails sent, LinkedIn connections gained, and meetings booked.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Strong verbal and written skills to engage prospects effectively.
  • The ability to identify customer pain points and position our solutions accordingly.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn, email automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, with a positive mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, handle objections, and maintain a resilient approach.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust tactics as needed to support revenue goals.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Previous experience in prospecting, outreach, or market research.
