The Role

Our client Hayward Care Group is seeking experienced Autism/Learning Disability/Challenging Behaviour Support Workers. You will be providing a person-centred service to individuals living within specially adapted supported living homes. Both part-time and full-time contracts are available for weekday, weekend work, waking nights, and sleep-in positions. As a Supported Living Worker, you will play a significant role in assisting clients with day-to-day tasks, providing personal care, and participating in shopping and befriending duties during extra day shifts.


Main Responsibilities

  • Providing hands-on, person-centred care to clients
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks
  • Administering personal care and medication
  • Assisting with shopping and befriending activities
  • Leading by example in delivering high-quality care
  • Ensuring all required training updates are completed
  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection guidelines
  • Participating in required meetings and training


Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for supporting others and aligning with their values
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required for day shift work)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience in Autism, Learning Disability, or Challenging Behaviour
