We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Co-ordinator to join an established and growing new-build residential developer based in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that prides itself on delivering high-quality homes. The role offers a mix of on-site and office-based work, providing variety and exposure to different stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical aspects of residential developments from initial design stages to project completion.
  • Manage 2-3 sites at varying stages of development, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and quality standards.
  • Handle consultant contracts, fee proposals, and appointments, ensuring clarity and efficiency in engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and compliant with all regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and submit all technical information, such as working drawings and consultant documents, to building control and warranty providers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve design-related challenges to keep projects on track.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Co-ordinator or similar role, preferably in the residential and new build sector..
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design/drafting software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in residential construction or housing development is essential.
  • Familiarity with NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and warranty providers.
  • Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A HND/HNC in Construction or Building Studies can also be considered for candidates with extensive experience.
