Smart Education is currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Tutor to work in Cannock, supporting a student with complex learning needs.

Job Requirements for this SEN Tutor role in Cannock:
  • Experience supporting students with severe learning difficulties and EHCPs
  • Understanding of cognition and learning, communication, and interaction needs
  • Ability to deliver ASDAN modules and develop a personalised learning plan (PLP)
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour and engaging reluctant learners
  • Awareness of medical needs, including seizure management
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive approach to learning

This role involves working with a student who is not working at a national curriculum level. The student presents with challenging behaviour and may refuse to engage in activities, requiring a patient and structured approach. The tutor will work closely with the student to develop life and learning skills through ASDAN modules.
