Role: Warehouse worker
Location: Cannock
Pay Rate: 11.44 - 12 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 5 Days. 8am - 4.30pm Saturday OT is available at enhanced x 1.5 rate
About the role
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship) to deadlines
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulation Build, Pack, and ship outbound customer orders
Experience
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems; preferably SAP
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to understand safe liftin practices
- Current forklift license (Preferable, not essential)
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e., UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
