Their treasury department plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting the firm's overall financial health.

The Role

As a Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for a variety of finance and treasury functions, helping to maintain and streamline financial processes while managing transactions and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Regular bank reconciliations and associated transactions
Posting transactions on QuickBooks and Xero software
Preparing month-end Management Accounts, including journals
Managing day-to-day financial transactions
Supporting cost control and budget management with Treasury Partners
Overseeing and guiding the Treasury team
Preparing financial documents (invoices, accounts payable & receivable)
Making and processing payment runs
Submitting BACS transactions
General accounts administration, including maintaining files
Ad hoc financial tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate

They're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical and communication skills. About you:

AAT qualification (or equivalent)
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
A professional attitude with high levels of discretion and confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role
