Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to support a Charity based in Kent as they navigate a pivotal period of change, we are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join who will be instrumental in ensuring robust financial management and providing strategic insights to the CEO.

The RoleReporting to the CEO the Interim Financial Controller will oversee the financial operations of the charity, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective resource allocation. You will play a key role in supporting the charity's financial stability and strategic goals during this transitional phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with charity regulations and financial standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement and refine financial policies, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accountability.

About You

You will be an experienced qualified financial professional with a strong track record in financial management, within the charity or non-profit sector.
