Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join their small and friendly team based in Canterbury. As a vital member of the finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the financial management through accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support decision-making.
  • Reconcile and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive strategic planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is communicated effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in management accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end processes and management accounts preparation.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, Sage would be preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
