Your new companyA reputable organisation is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their team in Canterbury. This role offers hybrid working opportunities and is a permanent, full-time position.
Your new role
- Oversight of month-end procedures and preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preparing accruals/prepayments.
- Acting as a line manager to a Finance Assistant.
- Conducting control account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
- Assisting budget managers with finance business partnering, including reviewing budgeted expenditure and income.
- Quality checking VAT returns.
What you'll need to succeed
- Be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Have a good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.
- Possess a general understanding of finance and ledger work.
- Be analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have credit control experience.
