You will either be an experienced Manager / Partner Designate, looking to become a Partner/ shareholder in the next couple of years.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but highly successful firm of chartered accountants in a general practice capacity where you will manage a portfolio of general practice work across a range of accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT with the support of a small team.
This opportunity would especially suit somebody who is keen to become a Partner/ shareholder in the future. The current Partner is looking for somebody to help drive the business forward as part of their succession.
As a Manager / Partner Designate in Canterbury, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee your own client portfolio.
- Provide general OMB client accounts and tax advice, and planning.
- Review and prepare Ltd company, sole trader, and partnership accounts.
- Review and prepare corporation tax computation calculations.
- Reviewing VAT returns.
- Preparing and presenting management accounts to clients.
- Be involved in the marketing of the practice.
- Be involved in the strategic direction of the practice’s future.
- Oversee and support junior staff members and trainees.
Manager / Partner Designate in Canterbury
- You will be ACA/ ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as either a Manager or senior Manager within a practice environment and have hands-on experience of daily duties.
- Experience in client management, people management or business development would be advantageous.
