Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Liaise with clients to provide expert financial advice and address any queries.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and tax returns.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Senior Accountant Qualifications and Experience:
  • ACCA/ACA/Qualified by Experience (QBE) or Part Qualified (PQ).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a public practice environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
