Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking for an environment that provides you with challenging work, yet balance and flexibility to avoid the feeling of burnout? We are working with an established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Canterbury who are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to their team.

They are looking for a talented Structural Engineer with the ability to manage multiple projects, providing leadership within the Structural Engineering team, working across a genuinely broad and diverse spectrum of projects - including commercial offices, residential buildings, laboratories and educational buildings.

The successful candidate will be a driven Engineer who is either performing as - or looking to progress to - Senior Structural Engineer. Ideally, you will be chartered with the IStructE too although this is something that is supported if not.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Ability to lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Competent conducting structural analysis and design, with a varied portfolio of experience.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot and/or MasterSeries.
  • Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply to a range of stakeholders.
  • Chartered with IStructE or ICE (or working towards).
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
