Food & Beverage Manager high end dining - package £60,000

A unique hotel building an excellent reputation for their fine cuisine and sophisticated, edgy ambience. Having already been awarded numerous accolades they are constantly looking for ways to improve and develop their offering, so now require an exceptional Food & Beverage Manager to take them to the next level.

There are 2 restaurants, a cocktail bar, lounge and event space. The role will involve overseeing one of the restaurants, the deck and all events, with a team of 30 staff.

There is an excellent Head Chef in place and with his brigade they prepare an indulgent menu utilising all the fresh produce available to them. This culinary adventure is centred around Texan and Asian culture and cuisine bringing Canterbury a new and innovative concept.

The role and skills required:

  • Overseeing the day to day running of these unique restaurants and event space.
  • Creating a first class, personalised guest experience, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Training initiatives to guide and foster growth opportunities within your team.
  • Good knowledge of fine wines and spirits
  • Driving revenue, encouraging up-selling.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Able to excel within an independent business structure reporting directly to the owner.

The ideal candidate will have held a management role within an award-winning restaurant preferably with a 2 AA Rosette/Michelin accreditation. The client has great ambition for the property and is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager with a clear presence, a real passion for hospitality and the skills to ensure a consistently, first class customer experience.
