Chemical Analyst (Rotating Shift)Salary: £37,500 - £42,500 per annum (including 25% shift uplift)Location: Based 20 mins drive from CanterburyHours: 37.5 hours per week (Rotating shifts: Early – 6am-2pm Mon-Fri / Late – 2pm-10.30pm Mon-Thur, 2pm-7.30pm Fri)Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeOpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chemical Analyst to join a well-established manufacturing business. This role plays a key part in maintaining and controlling electroplating and metal finishing solution tanks, ensuring compliance with strict health, safety, and quality standards.Chemical Analyst Responsibilities

Conduct routine chemical analysis of solutions and materials.
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Monitor and improve electroplating and metal finishing processes.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH.
Provide shop floor technical support, resolving plating-related issues.
Manage hazardous waste disposal, including wastewater effluent system monitoring.
Analyse production problems and implement corrective actions.

Ideal Candidate

Degree or HND in Chemistry or a related field.
Some experience or knowledge of industrial electroplating.
Strong understanding of COSHH regulations and environmental permits.
Methodical approach to process and product improvement.
Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10.30pm).
