Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a versatile Learning and Development Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the organisational growth and enhance the skills of our workforce. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing training programs tailored to meet the business strategic goals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers.
  • Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials.
  • Deliver training sessions to employees using a variety of instructional techniques.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of staff training records.
  • Update curriculum and methods continuously to ensure compliance with industry standards and introduction of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to integrate learning with overall business strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or similar.
  • Strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, HR or related field.
