Classroom Assistant - Canterbury
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with specific learning needs, helping them stay on track with their studies.
- Assist small groups of children with classroom activities, encouraging active participation and engagement.
- Support the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and behaviour management.
- Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all students feel supported.
- Monitor and report on students' progress to the class teacher and SEN coordinator.
Classroom Assistant - Canterbury
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach to supporting both individual and group learning.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).
