As a CT Meter Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of CT metering equipment across the Kent area. You will ensure that all meters are installed efficiently, tested for accuracy, and compliant with industry regulations. The role requires working independently while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to upskill into High Voltage (HV) metering and mentoring roles through structured training and career progression.
The ideal candidate will have CT metering installation experience, strong electrical knowledge, and relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and MOCoPA Certification. You should have a full UK driving license and be willing to undergo in-house training and further skill development. A proactive and hard-working attitude, along with a willingness to ask questions and learn, is essential to thrive in this role.
The Role:
- Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of CT metering equipment across Kent
- Testing and verifying metering installations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Providing excellent customer service while working on-site.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations while working with electrical systems.

The Person:
- Experience in CT metering installation is essential.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including single-phase and three-phase meters.
- Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and MOCoPA Certification.
- Full UK driving license (company van and fuel card provided).
- Willing to undergo in-house training and further skill development.
- A proactive and hard-working attitude, with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
