Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Ash, Canterbury (must drive due to client's location)
Contract: Temporary contract for 3-6 months
Salary: £12.25 per hour
Hours: 39 per week (Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00; Friday 08:00-13:00)

Duties:
- Mixing chemical compounds in preparation for production.
- Once the chemical is mixed and made into powder, put the powder into tubes, seal and pack.
- Complete product quality testing.
- Ensuring chemicals are stored safely and in compliance with HSE standards.
- Complete all work in a safe manner, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and standards.
- Ensure build and quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain appropriate production and safety records.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, as required, such as a ride on mower and trimmers to cut hedges.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Previous experience in either production, assembly, warehouse or manufacturing would be desirable but full training will be provided.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 25kg.
- Must be comfortable working out percentages.
- DBS check will be carried out.
Other information:
- Non-smoking site.
- Phones must be kept in lockers.
