Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our busy finance team. In this role, you will oversee month-end procedures, prepare management accounts, and support budget managers. You will also manage a Finance Assistant and ensure high standards in all tasks, including VAT returns and control account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee month-end procedures and prepare monthly management accounts.- Prepare accruals and prepayments.- Line manage a Finance Assistant.- Conduct control account reconciliations, including inter-company accounts.- Collaborate with budget managers to review expenditure and income.- Quality check VAT returns.

Working Arrangements:This full-time role is based in Canterbury, with the possibility of flexible and hybrid working. Working days are Monday to Friday, with on-site parking and subsidised meals provided.
About You:To excel in this role, you should:- Be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.- Have a good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.- Possess a general understanding of finance and ledger work.- Be analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Have credit control experience.
