  • This role may also provide the option to work full-time across two sites for the right candidate.

Our client is a local organisation who are looking for the right fit for their team. This role would perhaps suit an experienced Finance Manager with hands-on operational experience in an ever changing environment who is looking for a part-time role. The right candidate will need to be adaptable and keep the management spending in check! You will need to be a Qualified Accountant, (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or qualified by experience.

Driven by passion and personality, you will lead a small team to embrace change to adapt and overcome. A strategic thinker, your work will reflect accurate numeracy and financial management skills, while allowing some autonomy to empower staff, with respect to budget requirements.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure financial controls, governance and best practice are maintained. You will be responsible for the accounts, using Sage. It will be essential to monitor and manage the bank accounts, to oversee payroll and produce monthly management accounts.

As line manager of a small team, you will be expected to oversee their tasks in respect to invoicing and other financial matters. You will be a key lead in strategic discussions and be a safeguarding leader.

To summarise, the successful candidate will have responsibilities for; Operations, Governance, Finance and Audit processes and be a visible-on-site member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Alternatively you may have the opportunity for the role to cover two sites and work as a full-time role, for the right candidate.
