  • The pay for this position is £18 per hour, with a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
We are working with a client based in Canterbury and are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join their friendly and dynamic team.

As management accountant you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analysing financial data, and assisting in decision-making to improve organisational efficiency and profitability.

This is a temporary 3-6 month placement with the possibility of an extention.

Hybrid / Remote:3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home
Pay: 18 phr

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Posting monthly journals,reconciliation of payroll related balance sheet accounts.
  • Preparing month end management accounts, accruals and prepayments.
  • Overseeing the aged debtors and reconciling to trial balance.
  • Configure training for the planned roll-out of the full purchase ordering system capability.
  • Assisting budget managers with budget reports.
  • Responsible for quality checking VAT Returns.
  • Statutory Reporting to Government organisations.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and fixed assets.
  • Assist with the preparation of the three year rolling budget, including the creation of nominal codes, updating templates, consolidation of reports and data analysis.
  • Ability to support other roles within the finance department if needed.

About You:
  • The successful candidate will preferably be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
  • Have previous in a similar position.
  • Experience in Sage 200 and accounting software.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
