Senior Finance Manager | East Kent | £55k - £60k A highly successful, privately owned international business with ambitious plans for growth, require an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join them as their finance team grows in this newly created role. This role is based in East Kent and currently operate 5 days a week in the office.You will play a key role in maintaining all the key elements of the finance function, ensuring the team maintains good processes and practices, meeting deadlines and delivering the required financial reports for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, including completing all balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end journals for tax, prepayments, accrued income, and accrued expenditure.
  • Provide commentary on actuals and budget variances for review.
  • Take ownership of HMRC, VAT and company audit
  • Assisting all areas of the wider business with ad-hoc financial support

The ideal candidate:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or candidates qualified by experience will be considered
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work and build rapport with non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload under pressure
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A true team player and strong collaboration skills
