Secondary Teacher of Business Studies - Canterbury
Academics, Canterbury are working closely with a very well respected secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies teacher to join them in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional or a newly qualified teacher looking to contribute to the education of young minds and inspire a passion for business.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality and engaging Business Studies lessons to students at various levels across KS4 and A-level
- Planning and preparing lesson materials, including assessments and assignments
- Implementing effective teaching strategies and utilising modern educational resources and technology
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student growth
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with colleagues to support the overall development of the Business Studies curriculum
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- A degree in Business Studies or a related field
- Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best
- Effective communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to professional development and staying up to date with educational trends and practices
