Dedicate Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with this highly regarded and prestigious school in Kent, with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement, to appoint a HR Officer for a 12-month maternity cover.

Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with the HR team, the HR Officer will ensure the delivery of an efficient, high-quality HR advisory service for the school.

The role will include onboarding of new employees, compiling HR metrics and preparing data reports as required on the HR Information System (iTrent). You will be the key contact for updating the Single Central Register, conducting DBS checks and drafting of contracts for new employees.

You will support the Employee Relations process on absence management and grievance cases.

The successful candidate will be minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent, with strong people and technical skills, together with experience of working in a fast-paced HR role ideally within an education setting.

As a solution focused team player, you are able to adapt to changing requirements, delivering a professional and high standard of service that drives continuous improvement. You will have strong organisational and communications skills, able to present to a diverse range of people at all levels within the school.

This is an on-site, full-time post. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.

37.5 hours per week
