About the Role

This role is ideal for a solicitor who thrives on a varied and stimulating caseload. You will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including but not limited to:

  • Advising on day-to-day employment issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, and dismissals.
  • Representing clients in complex tribunal litigation, including cases involving discrimination, unfair dismissal, and whistleblowing.
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Advising on TUPE transfers, redundancies, and workforce restructures.
  • Providing strategic advice on diversity, equal pay, and employee relations.

The role also includes active participation in business development initiatives, offering an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy building strong client relationships and contributing to the team's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercially focused and solution-driven employment law advice to a wide range of clients.
  • Effectively manage a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines, billing, and WIP targets are met.

  • Stay up to date with legal developments and share knowledge with colleagues and clients.
