The Role:
As a Legal Secretary within the Private Client team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm’s solicitors and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing electronic diaries, booking rooms, and arranging meetings.
- Liaising with clients and the firm's contacts via telephone.
- Creating letters, emails, and documents using the digital transcription system, Bighand.
- Using a case management system for wills and probate matters.
- Photocopying, scanning, and maintaining accurate electronic filing systems.
- Attending occasional client meetings and accompanying fee earners on home visits when required.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client team.
- A sensitive and professional approach when dealing with clients both in person and over the phone.
- Fast, accurate typing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive attitude.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advantageous but not essential).
