The company:
An award winning residential developer who operate across the Southern Home Counties.
The project:
A new traditional build development of 18x detached homes (4-5 bedroom).
The role:
Reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing this residential scheme as the number 1 on site, from site setup through to completion. Your role will involve but not be limited to:
- Management of the master build programme
- Preparation of short term programmes
- Weekly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors
- Progress reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager on a weekly basis
- Pre-start meetings with the relevant subcontractors
- Overseeing Health & Safety on site and production of relevant reports
- Liaise regularly with external bodies regarding development including Building Control, HSE, Utilities and Service providers and NHBC
- Responsible for quality control, ensuring all units are completed to the required standard prior to NHBC inspection
About you:
- You will have gained circa 5+ years experience, ideally working for a Residential Developer
- Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work)
- Experience working on a similar scheme would be preferable, but not essential
- Experience of controlling multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour
- Strong organisational and time management skills
