About the Role
This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with students, and a confident classroom presence. Whether you are considering a career in teaching or have experience working with young people, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide guidance and support to students to ensure productive use of lesson time.
- Take attendance and report on lesson progress to teaching staff.
- Assist with general administrative tasks when cover is not required.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who are proactive, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Previous experience in education is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
