JOB TITLE: HR Administrator

LOCATION: Canterbury | Close to city centre with free parking

SALARY: £13.50 to £14ph

TERM: minimum 3 months

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (flexible start/finish times)

START: Immediately

Office Angels are proud to be working with this large employer in their search for a HR Administrator. This is a temporary role starting almost immediately for a minimum of 3 months, however this could be extended.

You will be joining a supportive team who can offer flexibility with hours to make this role work for you. You will be based in offices close to Canterbury City Centre with free parking on site, however they are also within easy reach of public transport links.

The day to day duties in your new job could be:

  • Draft contractual documents (based on templates) for new and current employees.
  • Support with the digitisation of paper HR-files as we move to electronic filing.
  • Publishing advertisements for vacant positions on job platforms as appropriate.
  • Process applications, supporting line managers to longlist candidates.
  • Invite candidates to interview and prepare interview packs for the panel.
  • E-mail correspondence with successful and unsuccessful candidates informing them of outcomes.
  • Process reference requests and occupational health checks for successful candidates.
  • Using our new starters process, coordinate with line managers and others to ensure new starters are set-up and ready to go on their first day of work.
  • Collating information for regular recruitment updates to the Executive Management Team.
  • Point of contact for incoming telephone and email enquiries to the HR Department, answering and directing calls and emails as appropriate.
  • Answer basic phone and e-mail queries.
  • Undertake general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, scanning and data entry.
