We are seeking a Student Lettings Property Manager to join our forward-thinking team in Canterbury. This role is ideal for an articulate and intelligent individual who is keen on developing a career in property management. While previous experience in Student Lettings is desirable, candidates with experience in Residential Lettings or general Property Management are also encouraged to apply.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct site visits to assess repairs and maintenance needs, obtaining quotations, and arranging maintenance orders with approved contractors.
  • Perform property inspections, write appraisals and detailed reports.
  • Handle the marketing of properties, arrange and conduct viewings, and manage lease procedures.
  • Carry out inventories, check-ins, and check-outs of students.
  • Manage day-to-day student lettings tasks including handling telephone calls, queries, and general filing.
  • Provide cover for team members and handle general correspondence as required.
  • Deal with complaints from landlords and tenants, and negotiate with potential new clients.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current legislation relevant to student lettings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a good eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent timekeeping.
  • Motivated individual with solid customer service skills.
  • Must own a clean, full UK driving licence and have a vehicle with business insurance for work use.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience in a similar role within real estate is highly advantageous.
