Residential Conveyancer

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a friendly and supportive team in Canterbury.

Our client is a highly regarded law firm who are seeking a hardworking and ambitious individual to join their expanding and successful property team.

This firm are happy to consider both qualified (e.g. Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer) and non/part-qualified individuals, providing they have the appropriate level of experience to carry out the role.



About the Role

You will manage a variety of residential property conveyancing matters, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, and land transactions. This is a client-facing role where you'll liaise with estate agents, financial advisors, and clients, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling all aspects of residential property transactions.
  • Liaising with estate agents and financial advisors regularly.
  • Explaining complex legal matters to clients in a clear, accessible way.
  • Managing financial aspects, including cash flow, billing, and collections.
  • Preparing accurate conveyancing quotations and meeting agreed targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Participating in marketing, networking, and business development activities.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven experience in handling a residential property caseload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the ability to meet deadlines.
