Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Canterbury
Job Type: Full time/Permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (3 days in the office and 2 at home)
Salary: 32,000 - 34,000 per annum
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Finance Business Partner to join their small and friendly team based in Canterbury. As a vital member of the finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the financial management through accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support decision-making.
- Reconcile and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive strategic planning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is communicated effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant experience in management accounting.
- Strong knowledge of month-end processes and management accounts preparation.
- Proficient in using accounting software, Sage would be preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
