As a Procurement Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our sales and warehouse teams to streamline our purchasing processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process new purchase orders, ensuring non-core products are ordered within 24 hours.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to meet safety stock levels and sales forecasts.
  • Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring they are invoiced correctly and support month-end financial requirements.
  • Coordinate with hauliers to guarantee smooth deliveries and secure PODs/ETAs.
  • Collaborate daily with the sales team to synchronize order planning and demand forecasting.
  • Contribute to key projects aimed at enhancing the buying process and achieving cost savings.
  • Maintain precise delivery schedules and adhere to customs protocols for UK & EU clearance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in purchasing, stock control, and sales administration.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in managing purchase orders and coordinating haulage.
  • Collaborative spirit to work effectively with sales and warehouse teams.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of customs protocols for UK and EU is a plus.
