An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, family-like Quantity Surveying consultancy in Kent.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take the lead on a variety of exciting projects across sectors including education, mixed-use residential, commercial, retail fit-outs, hotels, and healthcare. You'll oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre- to post-contract, focusing on cost control, planning, and reporting to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

This role offers the chance to not only manage projects but also junior team members and further enhance your leadership skills, whilst working towards an Associate role. With opportunities to expand into project management, this is an ideal position for someone looking to grow their career and take on more responsibility in a supportive, friendly team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification
  • MRICS ideally or currently working towards
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
