As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering innovative and engaging English lessons that promote creativity, critical thinking, and a love of literature.
• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Assessing and monitoring students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and boosts students’ confidence in English.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and dynamic curriculum.
• Supporting extracurricular activities, such as writing clubs or drama productions, to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Encouraging and supporting all students, regardless of ability, to achieve their best in English.

To succeed in this English Teacher role, you will need:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification. Overseas-trained teachers are encouraged to apply.
• A degree in English or a related field.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 experience being a bonus.
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring a love for English in students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• An adaptable and inclusive teaching style.
