Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history are required.

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a Geography Teacher to work at a Canterbury based secondary school. The role is to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year - full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.

The role:

Plan and deliver interactive lessons across KS3 and KS4 to make geography come alive in the classroom
Plan lessons so all abilities are catered for
Attend departmental meetings when required
Manage the behaviour of the students effectively to ensure a positive learning environment

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience as a Geography Teacher at secondary level
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
