Maths Teacher
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school in Canterbury? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maths teacher to join a fantastic team for a fixed term contract starting on 24th February 2025.
About the Role:This full-time position will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 students, with the possibility of some KS5 teaching, depending on your experience and the needs of the school. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and prepare lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and implement strategies to support achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching across the department.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching in the UK is required.
- A strong passion for Maths and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A positive, proactive approach with a desire to contribute to the school community.
