Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across key stages.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.

Qualifications and Skills needed:

  • A proven track record of teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5.
  • Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Be able to teach engaging Science lessons using you own initiative whilst having a excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics
