Job Duties:- Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to secondary school students
- Evaluate and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting diversity and respect
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources
- Communicate regularly with students and their parents/guardians, providing updates on academic progress and addressing any concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Valid DBS check
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
Experience:Prior teaching experience in a secondary school setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the secondary science curriculum
- Strong communication and classroom management skills to effectively engage and support students
- Inspirational and motivational approach to teaching, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Effective organisational and planning abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing inclusive teaching practises
- Work in a secondary school setting
