Role - Social Sciences Teacher
Location - Dover
Start Date and Duration - January 2025 - July 2025
Hours - Full time - long term
Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a secondary school in the Canterbury area who are looking to recruit an outstanding Social Sciences Teacher for a January start - full time until the end of the academic year - July 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching Social Sciences across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting.
The role:
- Plan and deliver Social Sciences lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
- Monitor progress and provide additional support to ensure every student achieves their full potential
- Liaise closely with the Social Sciences Departments, attending meetings and CPD training when required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 students within a secondary setting
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Social Sciences
- Legal Right to Work in the UK
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
