Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care - Canterbury

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching of Health and Social Care curriculum to students
  • Consistently assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Health and Social Care curriculum and school policies

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Health and Social Care or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team
