We are seeking an Assistant SENCO to join a vibrant SEMH school that is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Day to day of the role:Assist the SENCO with administrative tasks related to SEN provision.Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies to coordinate support for students.Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions as needed.Uphold and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience in an educational setting, preferably with SEMH students.Understanding of SEN policies and procedures.Strong communication and organisational skills.Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to student well-being and support.

Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in education or SEN are desirable but not essential.
